oh man are you seriously retarded or just a troll seeking attention?
everyone knows ebay has bad rep here and there are far better options to buy from like flipkart who offer replace guarantee if product is damaged or even unsealed when bought.
if you got an unsealed product then its obviously been used as a display or a return product or something else.
FUD
There are good ebayers & there are bad ebayers, For the better part most of them are good. Everyones mileage varies when it comes to ebay, Ive had a few issues with a seller about 8-10 months back but any issues ive had with sellers are usually resolved quite quickly without having to resort to opening up a dispute with ebay to deal with it.
Ive been using ebay mainly to buy stuff & occasionally to sell my older hardware & other junk for almost 10years (i think i opened an account between 2001-2003) and I have NEVER had any major issues with wrong item sent, items not arriving or items not as described - Occasionally stuff either doesnt get sent because either the merchants systems go down because of the amount of orders they have or they forget about it but having worked for the local postal service here in the UK for 5years I know how stuff can go missing during processing and im not talking about the staff committing criminal acts... Shit like that DOES happen but what can you do? a lot of the time though things get placed somewhere & forgotten about, the warehouse is pretty big and mail gets lost every day - its unavoidable & quite often some of the staff are incompetent because they've grown too comfortable with the job, Another problem is the hiring of temporary staff but and acts of theft will be taken extremely seriously and any staff will be prosecuted. Over my time there Ive seen 2 or 3 occasions where the cops came to arrest a guy while he was working.
Obviously be cautious when buying goods from certain countries that are known to be 'less genuine' shall we say when it comes to buying stuff from.
Never send goods overseas unless the item is tracked every step of the way - if the buyer doesnt want to pay for the charges then you can void the sale and put it back on auction.
Also - Ebay's rating system cant really be faked easily, unless they hire some people to make a load of bogus transactions with but even then, they would be losing money because whatever they sell ebay takes a cut for the listing & also the final sale price of that item.
Occasionally mistakes are made - dont accuse a seller with 98-99% rating for being a scammer just because he sent the wrong item - that doesn't help anyone.
