Ok, so I had some hardware for sale in another thread. I decided to stop trying to sell the graphics card, psu and mouse that I was selling and just trade the whole thing. I'm looking to get a xbox 360, a nicer one preferably the new slim along with accessories. Not looking for old arcade models with a 20g hard drive, must be a newer model with a good size hard drive and one of the less RROD prone chips. Accessories should include all cables including HDMI, good size hard drive, at least one controller (more is better ), at least a few games, a kinect would be cool but not a must.
That would be for the tower with keyboard and mouse. If you also want the 21.5" asus vh226h monitor you may be able to skimp on the accessories and include a flat sceen TV obviously nothing huge would be worth trading, but maybe something along the lines of 32" or so. (after all I need something to play the xbox on, lol)
I've got a little over $900 in all of it, so while I'm not looking for exactly $900 in trade value, I'm also not looking to trade for $200 worth of gear either.
This PC plays battlefield 3 very well on high settings, it could do ultra with better cooling/case to allow for some overclocking (I haven't attempted any kind of overclocking whatsoever). What I've done so far to keep my temps in check is crank of up GPU fan speed using sapphire trixx software, along with using speedfan software to increase the speeds of my CPU fan and rear exhaust fan. If you plan on putting this video card under max load (like playing BF3) you'll need to remove the side panel to the case or it gets a little hot. I haven't attempted using any aftermarket coolers for the video card, but perhaps that would be a simple solution for the temps. A new case would really be great though as cable management is a pain, along with the fact that the HP p-7 series have the Mobo's installed upsidedown? lol.
The PC is a HP Pavilion p7-1010, you can view whats inside here. http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bi...portFAQ&prodSeriesId=5080737&prodTypeId=12454

You can view some of my bf3 gameplay using this computer (not much of it, but a couple vids) on my youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P87ebJzoc8
I'm new to the site obviously, so my heatware is rather useless. http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=78741 I will not skimp on details about the computer or about myself or whatever you need to know, just let me know what you need to make a legit swap.
