my pc problem

    friends i hope that all of you can solve my problem.....
    my pc graphics card is x700 AGP ....but recently or in this month it caused me alot of trouble...
    sometimes it will auromatic restart when i was running some program,it display blue screen and say the ati2dvag problem even i reinstall driver and PCI to PCI bridge also cannot fix it...sometimes even worst because i turn on the computer but show no display and after i just take away my graphics card and set it back in the graphics card slot then finally the computer show display...i so struggle with this problem can anybody help me ...thank you very much.....

    Try updating the drivers, COMPLETELY erasing the old ones, and re-seating the vid card. Clean the contacts too. Could be a number of things, really. How old is the card and the system it's in? Also, could you please fill out your system specs in the User CP? That would provide us with alot more info.

    I would also do some basic system clean up.
    Run disk deframentation and also run a full disk check to make sure that you are not getting a bit of bad sector growth on your hard drive that is causing malfunctions.

    ... and as pb said, please go to your User control panel and fill in your computer specs. That helps a lot for people who are trying to help you troubleshoot a problem.

    Oh ... and fill in the location section. You don't have too, but it is always nice to see where the people we are helping live :)

    O try to do cpu-z instead of a dxdiag... much more accurate.
