I did this for my dad as this usb wifi stick felt warm and I was bored. I had heatsinks anyways.

Runs lightning fast now and stays cooler.

No interference solid 4/5 bars on winxp from across house with aluminum holiday tray shield behind it. Just about same packets sent and received too.

I though it would cause probs but works well. They are heavy copper sink btw.

nice, but if you dont have heatsink you could use coin as heatsink
