Need a cooler

Hello, I am looking for a cooler that is 150mm or less because my case only has clearance for that.
LGA 1150 socket.

I have a Corsair SPEC-01 RED case which only has a maximum of 150mm for a cpu cooler.

I don't want to spend more than $50.

I would rather not have a low-profile design unless I have to.

Based on your 150mm height requirement, a 92mm tower cooler like a Noctua U9 or similar should fit w/o issue.

*note- case seems to be water cooling friendly so you could take a look at some Corsair refurbs like the H60

That makes it a bit harder to find something, if you are set on a tower style cooler.
I would agree with the suggestion made above of a Noctua, either the NH-U9S or the NH-D9L

notice: in the carbide Spec-01 the top screw of the window panel scratch the radiator on a 120mm AIO (i owned one with a H60v2)
tho i would recommence a Cooler Master Seidon 120V instead of a H60 or any 120mm Corsair unit, based on my own experience with them.

on air cooler i used a Scythe Katana 4 which fitted perfectly

What about the CoolerMaster Hyper-TX3? For me it worked like a charm when I needed a compact but still good performance cooler. It's just 139mm high so you'd still have some lil gap between the lid and the cooler. Also fits within your budget http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0028Y4S9K/?tag=tec06d-20

But as @krusha03 or @GreiverBlade mention I'd try to go with a 120mm AIO solution, just up your budget 20$ more and you'll find some good options :toast:
