Need a new Graphics Card

Hello all.

Ive just sold my nvidia 780ti. So on the hunt for a upgrade I've only had a nvidia cards but I'm up for a AMD card if there is a good one in my price range have about £400 to spend.
Any help and your views would be great. :lovetpu:

Well, you have a couple of choices. You could go for something like the Sapphire R9 Fury, GTX 980, or an R9 390X at your price point. Of the three the R9 Fury is the strongest while the GTX 980 and 390X are even at stock but the GTX 980 overclocked will out perform the R9 390X overclocked.

Though coming from a GTX 780ti, your not going to see that great an improvement on any card you buy.

The problem is you're looking at 400 lbs just for a 980, and it takes a 980 Ti to really get a decent upgrade over a 780 Ti.

I really think you dumped your 780 Ti kinda prematurely. It would have made more sense to hold onto it and upgrade with Pascal next year, or something equivalent if AMD can manage to match or beat it.

Cheapest 980 Ti I've seen is Zotac Amp on eBay.uk for 444 lb.

Not 400 pounds but the R9 Fury Tri-X from Sapphire is really really good. They go for about 440 and these guys have them in stock and shipped to you by Tuesday for free.
