Really anything LG or Dell Ultrasharp should be good.

    This.

    If you're going for a fancy 27-inch monitor, why would you want 1920x1080? You'll definitely want a 2560x1440 (16:9) or 2560x1600 (16:10) if you're going that size.

Dell ultrasharp monitors. And yes i would for for 2560X1440 as 27inch with 1080p makes them blocky, if you're observant to the details.

If 5-6ms G2G is enough fast, look at Asus PA278Q (or newer) or Dell U2713 or newer. I own the Asus in 24", i can tell u its great.

Unless dell changed their coating I wouldn't recommend their IPS for, well anything. Are you positive you want 1080p in 27"? If it will be at a distance that's fine, but up close anything over 21" in 1080p has pretty fat pixels. If you must the LG 27EA63V-P would be my pick.

Yeah Hayder, for 27", you want 1440p. 1080p is so 22" ago.

I have this one. I am a 3D arist and need a great LCD. I use it for both games and 3D. It is the kind Dream Works uses to color calibrate their movies. Other studios do the same. I play games at 2560x1600 rez so ya you get what you pay for. The only thing I would change is it does not have a HDMI port other than that nothing.

O ya it has 1.07 Billion colors...and it is a 10 bit rather than 8 bit so colors are way better. It has 99% of the Adobe colors.

I say why settle for a 27" when you can have 30"...... my LCD is out of reach for most people with price but they make some really great mid range 30" and that would keep you for many years down the road.
