I am looking to upgrade from my 21" Samsung SyncMaster 215tw (which is nice) to a larger monitor preferably one of the new ones with a 120hz refresh rate and higher resolution that I have read about. 30 inches sounds about right. This is mainly to be used for high res gaming and watching HD content from my PC and DVR. I am not in a big rush so maybe something comming out around the Christmas season? Monitors are my weakest point as far as hardware goes so any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmn. 30" monitors cost a lot. I think a 24" will do the job just fine. :p

If your looking around 30" you may just want to get a TV. That way you'll have more hook-ups and versatility, plus they tend to be a tad better quality picture. You could get a 32" samsung plasma or something of the sort.
