Need bios for Asus GTX 680 Direct CO II OC Edition.

Hi,

I succeded in flashing my Asus GTX 680 Direct CU II OC card to a top version.

However, I am not that happy with it.

Since I am a newbie, I didnt think to backup my original Asus GTX 680 Direct CU II OC bios and now I have "downgraded" to a standard ASUS GTX 680 firmware.

Can someone be kind enough to help me obtain the Asus GTX 680 Direct CU II OC version of the bios?

I am sorry but no, that is the TOP version:

P0 Boost: 1201.50 MHz
P0 Base: 1137.00 MHz

The other one just below it, is the one I am using now and that is an Asus standard and not OC bios

Unfortunately GPU-Z does not support saving the BIOS for Kepler, so our database has very few entries.

Doesnt the TOP just have higher clock speeds and different fan profile? Atleast this time its same card right?

They look excacly the same. Difference is, that the GPU on the TOP version is picked out for TOP versions. So they can run at higher speeds stable.

Since my card can run at the TOP bios and do 3D mark etc I was happy, but I have issues in BF3 for example.

So I just want to have the OC bios back and stay with that.

The model numbers are: GTX680-DC2O-2GD5 (mine) and GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 (TOP).

Have you tried setting the gpu voltage/power target abit higher with the ASUS GPU Tweak or Afterburner? I know its not a real fix but you could use the TOP bios atleast with the software until you find the bios file

Yes i am doing that, running my memmory at 6800, default is 6008 and my clock speed at 1084 default for a OC ed, but still it is very annoying - So if you all could be kind enough to help me find it and also perhaps UL it to this page it would be awesome.

By what ive read nvflash does support making a backup bios file on 600 series so id suggest pm someone with the same card and ask them for the bios.

that's correct. nvflash is in our downloads section and works fine for all kepler cards to save the bios

my KFA2 is the original card by Nvidia so i won't even try to flash ur custom card with this bios ^^;

but why not email Asus and hear if they can send u a copy of the bios?

and for W1zzard if u don't know it, but Asus has released a new bios for the GTX 670 TOP Card.

Asus isnt so easy to get in touch with to be hournest. They need a lot of information in order to contact them and it is easier to get help here. I also posted at Asus forum, but to no avail and at http://www.mvktech.net but no answer so far. With all the members here, changes are big I think someone will have or buy a card like mine

yes, send me all your kepler bioses to that email address. include info like model name, memory size or a link to a product page
