Ok, yeah ... I haven't replied for a very long time. *feels bad* :ohwell:

My life 101. I've chosen new parts because of my changing-daily-depending-on-what-I-see budget, so now I'm getting:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
Motherboard: Gigabyte 965P-S3
Memory: Kingston KVR800D2N5/1G 1GB
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB
Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce 7600GT 256MB
CD/DVD drive: Pioneer DVR-111 Black DVD-RW
Floppy drive: Black 1.44MB
Case: Coolermaster Mystique RC-632-SSN1-GP Silver
Cooling: Included in case
PSU: Antec TruePower 2.0 480W
Keyboard and mouse: Gigabyte GKM-RM01CP Slim Multi-Media Desktop
Operating system: Windows XP Home

I'll probably be upgrading to 2 gigabytes of ram later and after that, I'll be getting a new graphics card. Since I only want to play CSS, WC3 and BF2 with decent settings and no lag, it should be fine for now. Everything else looks pretty.

Just wondering, but would the PSU I've chosen be good when I finally get to upgrading both the RAM and the graphics card?

Cheers everyone. :)

Not sure about the ram, it's kingston valure ram with CAS Latency: 5, but you should get a 1gig duel channel kit for a matched pair (2x512), I dont know if than ram will let you overclock, since I dont know how to overclock:p (you'll want to overclock in the future, when your system starts getting old).

The antec is a solid psu, and I think it will do fine powering todays cards. (well almost all)

You should concider getting some better ram, its worth it.
Like:
Corsair XMS2
Team Xtreem
Muskin xp (not el)
Ocz XTC (the gold xtc can be found for fairly cheap)

Edit: dont get ddr2 667, it proforms worste than ddr2 533 on conroe systems, ddr533 with tight timmings like 3-3-3-10 would do very good on your system. (the 533mhz matches the fsb or somthing :p and the ddr2-800 is just so fast that it can proform better.)
