Hello everybody well my crappy raidmax PSU has kinda died on me it still works but right now i'm useing 2 PSU's to power my rig one powering just the motherboard and video card and the other powering everything else what i need is a good stable PSU to power my Rig Specs are on the left anybody have any good ideas for a decent PSU that will power my rig with no worries

The New XFX 750watt is jonnygure's new "Best" unit... as it now holds top Honors for crossload and almost no ripple. It appears to be like the Corsair HX 750, both a Seasonic M12D platform but some extra from XFX to keep it clean
I know I'm looking at it very hard for when[?????????] the FX700GLN ever craps lol

No offense, but you may want to get rid of that 4870 and switch over to something that doesnt consume as much power. I got a feelin thats what killed your raidmax.

I would love to do that but right now i'm short on funds and getting a new video card is out of the question and i'm a huge gamer and i would need to at least get something thats the same performance or at least more so right now my only option with the spare money i have is a PSU

You should know from back in the day when you and others threw it down my ass to get the "Better" PSU now, so that it will be capable to use in the future so I went "overkill??"
with the FSP 700GLN ? That's what you all said was a "Great" desiscion to get.

It's about the "Quailty" of the power, hes got a VERY power hungry GPU and if he's[anyone] to go into an upgrade system later the MAIN componet is ready for the task
If the 5870 can pull 40 AMPS then there's not a lot left over from a 500w PSU to give to the 4870.
Buy dot com had that XFX for 108 free shipping while back, so about $40+/- he can decide if it merited to have an "overkill" now or not

Most any of the units listed will "work" fine, but give the OP the same respect to decide if it's worth "thier" money to get an upgrade unit now or not
