I've seen on youtube, ppl going 4+ ghz on that DFI, and it's definitely a better oc than 975X.
new bios update has enabled more oc support.

It proves it's power consumption, performance and overclocking is greater than 975X.
Also it needs a higher conroe like E6600 as reviewed here
