I am probably going to be building a PC for a good friend of mine. He is a SERIOUS eBayer and he is constantly using his USB ports and transferring 500+ pictures a day. On his current PC both of his front panel USB's have failed. Anyone have any suggestions or anything that i should specifically look out for when buying his case? Additionally if anyone is aware of any products to make his life easier/faster please chime in! Thanks!

I have really really enjoyed building in the Cooler Master N200. Amazing case and can be found for around $50 usually. Well thought out design inside and out, front and back. Has 2 USB 2 and 1 USB on the front panel. Should be plenty for most...I recommend a Biostar B85S3+, tons of features, 6 SATA, plenty of USB2/3 ports on back, good audio section, with an SSD and Pentium G3220 for CPU and GPU, is a very good combo for a budget. Faaast booting, smooth and snappy.

Not sure what you're after for your friend build-wise...but it's an extremely good combo...I went to that from a 2600/z67/12GB DDR3 system...that had an HDD granted...but this new one is faster in everything I do for work. And with Windows 8.1 reboots in 17 seconds on average. That's with a 120GB SSD and 4GB DDR3-1600. It's a combo worth sharing about because it works so damn well...better than the average build that is usually requested.

Anyways..back to your question. I've built out of a lot of cases...I used to default to Rosewill, but their prices have risen and on their budget cases, quality hasn't. This Cooler Master N200 is the boss on the budget scene as-far-as I'm concerned. Check it out!

Some people are just hard on USB ports. Just get a case with USB 3.0. My favorite budget mid size case is the Fractal Define R4 White. But if he uses Micro SD cards then get a good USB 3.0 card reader. External. I use to use the internal ones but with USB they need the hand shake every once in awhile. So I got this. It works great and its fast

So make sure you put a mobo with enough USB 3 ports in it. (99% of cases have a couple of ports at the front, check also they are USB 3 compatible).
The other thing I realised recently is that I should have bought a case with space at the top for a double fan water cooling unit.
Otherwise, I find Lian-li boxes quite OK.
In a new build I would have a look at the Corsair line.
