Hi All
I got a hand me down 4870 2gb edition from my bro. Its a great card. I currently play games on a monitor 1280x 1024. Games work and look good. But I recently purchased a 1920x1080 hdmi monitor which as not quite arrived yet. But Im thinking now shall i upgrade my graphics card. I have tried GTA 4 on highest settings on this resolution and there are quite a few times the fps do drop quite bad especially during a chase. But I have a spare £200 and was thinking would it be worth upgrading to a 6870 1gb which is:£139 or a 6950 2gb for £200. I dont really want to spend the full £200, so to me i would settle with 6870 but im looking ahead for battlefield 3 and the new skyrim oblivion game.
