If they are going with a dual RV670 = R670 then the current RV670 will be crap IMO.

This thread is about RV670 based HD2950Pro, not R600 based HD2900Pro.

Point being, who ever makes the card may or may not use 256 bit or 512 bit just like the 2900 pro. However, before passing judgment on just 1 unreleased, non retail product lets wait and see what develops in the retail chain.

yeah that's what i thought, hence the RV nor R core. now the r680 may or may not exist, if it does, then I think we might just see the 8800 killer we've all been waiting for.
