Now don't get me wrong, in no way am I claiming to be more knowledgable than Wizz, but from my own experience with GTX280 cards in SLI compared to a single 5870, I just don't see it. Personally I'm getting the same or better FPS with a single 5870 than I was with the SLI'ed GTX280 cards.
