The GTX460 is faster than the GTX465.

Also it was only the review samples of the GTX465 that could unlock to the GTX470.

i hear ya but there is gtx465 at my local shop that still can unlock to a gtx470, from what ive seen browsing trough a ton of website my chances are 50\50 it will unlock from what i seen if it has 10 memory chips and gpu code GF100-275-A3, my odds are good it will unlock if it has the new core and does not have 10 memory chips i will just bring it back to the store and go for the gtx460 instead

id say you have more like a 20/80 chance for unlock
its mainly the first 465's that could do that, and ones reviewers got

    not worth it

get the 460 Hawk edition, its a freakin beast

I'm Vietnamese but still ... thumbs up for NCIX, those guys are rock :rockout:
Btw go with a GTX 460 then OC it, then it'll give you an awesome performance
I'd go between Gigabyte GV-N460OC-1GI or MSI GTX 460 Hawk
