soo.. i need to finish the modding on my current case, but i cant since its the only case i have.
however i seem to have a lot of money with me now. around 50$ ors 2500INR, and i am thinking about the NZXT 210 which comes within my budget.

should i get a new case or have an open system while i mod my case.

note that my case has gotten very very cramped. takes an hour to the least to get all the wiring done. yes. only the wiring :shadedshu

    thanks![IMG]

That is a very good chassis for the price.

I'm guessing you already thought about the part where you finish modding you chassis and then you end up with a spare that will go nowhere fast. Oh wait, you can sell it here. :banghead: Never mind, then.
There is also that "thing" you get when the new chassis actually looks and is better than the old one and then you just don't bother with the mod.
I say open system will work better, if you have the conditions for it. If not, I'm sure you can get a cardboard box and stuff all your hardware in it. Sure, there will be a fire hazard, but who doesn't like living on the edge? :pimp:

The NZXT Source 210 is an excellent case to build in :toast:

I picked one up (not the Elite) for my spare PC- swapped all of the components in from another case and was up and running in less than an hour. Wire management was nice and quick- only issue you will have is tidying up the HDD wiring if you have a lot of them.

The only difference between the Source 210 and 210 Elite is that the Elite comes with an extra 140mm, some tool free clips, and one of the USB 2.0 ports in front is swapped for a 3.0 port.... there may a few more small changes but not surew what they may be.

If you have issues with dust and heat, you can rig a dust filter behind the front panel and the unit can take up to 6 120/140mm fans :toast:

Hit craiglist and get something cheap there. Once you're done you could donate it or mod into a bench.

Check your priorities. Is it that important to upgrade your case or would it be better if you save something more and perhaps upgrade hardware?

DDD lives in INDIA. Please stop assuming that the entire world population lives in the US of A.

@DDD: see if you can lend/get a suitable case of someone else, if that is a realistic strategy in your locale (maybe of an old(er) pc that is about to be "scrapped"?)

you can also temporarily buy a second hand case for 300-400 and then sell it to the crap man...and save the rest of the money to invest in some other areas!!!

Don't buy if your funding requires you to skimp. Save up and make it worth it.

Why not build a case? No, I mean it seriously: Take the time to create a custom case, the way you want it to be.

I wish I was as good as some people around here, because I have excellent plans, just not the tools, time or skills to make it happen.

Some parts could perhaps even be salvaged from your current case.
