New "gaming" build. Mid-tier. Is it balanced?

I'm not completely new since I have mounted some PCs in the past but I have made the same mistakes two times, building a not balanced rig and falling into advertisment traps. This time I don't want to make the same mistake again.
My idea is to use the computer for gaming more than rendering or graphical desing.

I have tought about this components selection:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
SSD: Sandisk SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon R9 380X 4GB WINDFORCE 2X
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair VS 650W ATX Power Supply

Could you give me some advice about it? Any strong bottleneck in the comp? Some better choice for any of the parts?

Thank you in advance for the provided help. =)

Buy a stronger cpu, most likely intel and wait a few months cuz AMD should be releasing polaris at any time.

This. Either go Intel of wait for Zen, and as for the GPU: wait until Polaris.

I hate to say it... But an i5 6500 is the way to go for the CPU, however waiting for Zen might be a good option before you buy all the components. The GPU that's picked is all fine and dandy, but with Polaris right around the corner I'd say at least wait until AIB cards are released and reviews are out on the supposed "new" line of GPU's (We're finally off 28nm boys!). It's your hard earned money that's on the line and I for one would like to see it well spent.

If you are choosing AMD Processors and Motherboards based on the price, fair enough.
But if you can afford a bit more, I agree with everyone else that Intel is the better option, also waiting another month or so for the new round of GPU's to be released.

Yes, get an i5 and just run the integrated graphics until the new gpus come out. Gtx 970 is a bad buy right now.
