So, after a few years on this build I'm looking to do another one for BF4/BF5. I don't really have a set budget but I don't want spend any unnecessary money. From the little I've read they aren't planning on make BF5 much more demanding than BF4. I'm not real concerned about playing on max settings either. Just as long as I can have a enjoyable experience. One thing I do not understand now is the new Radeon cards. What is the deal with these R9s? I don't know how to compare them really. I am used to the old numbering system. I would like to do a full tower this time, maybe one of the CM HAF cases. I will be reusing the power supply from my current system but that's about it. Here is a very uneducated list I have started with.

One question I do have is about the H100i and the case working well together. Thanks for any feedback.

290(x) are top end single gpu units, 295/290x2 are top end dual gpu units.

An AMD FX 4350,6300/20/50,8320/50/70 with a 990FX mobo can save you on price and give you a robust system.

Well form the thing I know this is how I think it goes:
R7 260x is the same as a HD 7790
R7 265 is the same as a HD 7850
R9 270x is the same as a HD 7870
R9 280 is the same as a HD 7950
R9 285 is somewhere between
R9 280x is the same as a HD 7970
R9 290 and 290x are in their own class.
R9 295 is 2 R9 290x's on one PCB

Changed cpu to a 6350. I don't see a much better offer on a mobo. Any thoughts on a video card that will run bf4/5?

260X-290X will run it. 8GB 1600 or better.

I would go for this:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-1003635l

This card has twice the performance of mine. And I bought mine for 210$ in 2012
I get about 30-35fps in battlefield on ultra in single player with my card.

by battlefield 5 you mean the real battlefield 5 or battlefield hardline?

That is almost exactly the card I had picked out. As a matter of fact the only difference i see is the part number?

Edit: Yea, the BF5 that is coming out next year.

EditEdit: I guess it is Hardline. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with it very close.
