I had that card and it good but the memory doesn't overclock well. If i were you i would get this card for 129.00

then sit back and watch how the new cards turn out. Then if this card doesn't cut it for you (which it will) then sell it passing on it's lifetime warranty(increasing it's resale)to another buyer. This is a very good card. When overclocked this card will come very close to a 8800gts for 129.00 plus has a zalman cooler and lifetime tranferable warranty. As a matter of fact I think I might buy one LOL.
I disagree about ram speeds, it's hit or miss with all 8800GT's. If you happen to get one with Samsung ram, they OC like mad. My sammy equipped 1GB Super games at 1050Mhz, 1100Mhz with a .05V bump in voltage. But many cards out there have the Qimonda ram, which struggles to hit 1000Mhz. Although they are running the timings tighter than the ram's default specs. That's with all manufacturers right now.
I would still personally get the Palit, only due to my personal experience with them. 3 phase power on the gpu allows for some really great core overclocks. Every single one of mine, out of 6 so far, have hit 775+ on the core for benching, and 750Mhz for gaming. Which is infinitely more important than ram speeds. With a voltmod, I was benching at 875 and gaming at 830 on the stock cooler. On water with the vmod, I've hit 950Mhz so far.
But, if the extra $20 is an issue, the XFX is a hell of a deal, so you can't really go wrong with it.
On and Ravenas, you can't tri-SLI with 8800GT's.
