just give us a budget, the country your from, and where you want to buy from.

oh and what you'll be using the computer for and what resolution monitor you'll be using.

BTW, why you so set on using a 1156 socket CPU and a GTX460 video card?

im from egypt this build will cost me 5630 EGPs 944 USDs or a lil bit less if i can decrease cost to 5300 (889 USD) would be awesome or 5400 (906 USD) that would be great as well well i could change the processor to AMD Phenom™ II X6 1090T 3.2GHz but ill have to get another mobo and i dont even know if the processor will be better. For the gtx i dont think id get any other its balanced between performance and price in my opinion its the best graphics card for some1 with a budget like mine's im currently shopping via this site http://www.egprices.com/
well im not really shopping there they have the latest prices of pc stuff for my country allthough i might check 1 or 2 stores of em

i ll be using pc for gaming
the monitor is a 20 inch 1 so ill be setting it to max which is 1600x900 i guess
thanks for ur help in advance

    if i decide to get a AMD Phenom™ II X6 1090T 3.2GHz Black Edition processor and a M5A87 mobo or M5A97
what difference would that be concerning performance and if this would be better are there gonna be disadvantges and what are they
and what ram would fit this mobo

Good morning, well it's morning here atleast. I don't have time right now to go though that website and see what I can come up with right now. I have to be leaving for work in 20 mins. I'll gladly see what i can come up with when I get home from work this afternoon(10-12 hours from now). I'm sure a few people will give you some suggestions though out today aswell.

Hi Mike, you should know that with the i4-2400 you will not be able to overclock but if that's OK then it's a good choice if your budget is tight. You can only add 2 since SB uses dual channel and anyway the mobo has only 2 memory lots. Check on asus site if it supports that particular Kingston, I think it should but just to be on the safe side. As for the PSU you don't need 600W for the GTX460 and this system and I would suggest a SeaSonic S12II 520W if it's available there .

I would get a 2500k, because on that site it doesn't cost that much more than the 2400. Then i would go with a z68 asrock board, because they are a lot of bang for the buck right now. Something like this. Powersupply from that site i would go with Thermaltake TR2 500 it has a single 36a 12v rail. :toast:

EDIT: If you think you'll go SLI one day, then pick the cheapest asrock board with 8x/x8.

For dual channel to work you need to install the same memory modules in both slots so make that 2X2GB or 2X4GB. Can't you find pairs like the first listed G.Skill?
