New RAID card?

I have no experience in controller cards and would like some help choosing a card for my needs. Essentially I need more SATA ports! I have unused drives sitting on my desk and running out of free space on my current drives. I'm not interesting in speed gain such as RAID 0, and I'm not interested (at this point) in redundancy. I just need more space!

My preferred store of choice is PCCG

Any information and advice? Thanks.

You can use any of the cards that are "PCI Express x1 interface" as the GA-EP43T-UD3L in the system specs has two PCIe x1 slots above the PCIe x16 [used for vga card] and two PCIe x1 below the PCIe x16 slot although one of these slots may be restricted by the vga card when installed, thus you have a total of 3 PCIe x 1 slots available

nb: due to the limitation of your motherboard and the choice of cards on the prefered site it may not be possible to purchase a 4 port SATA
