two 4850? why not a bigger card - is this due to budget?

and also a 520 be enough to power crossfire?

If you are going to be running 2 4850'5, you are going to want to upgrade your psu.

    1. then i would have to sell my current one and my current fs thread isnt all that hot

    2. fuck it, well have a go and find out lol, its not like im running some generic pos psu anyway, and 4850' in CF probably take around 250-280W max, from what ive read, considering im only running 1 dvd drive, 1 hdd, and no extra bits of kit looks like ill have plenty of room, extreme psu calculator pro estimates only 450w, with 32a on the 12v rails

Other than the power supply, I see only one problem.... The P5Q.

I FUCKING HATE mine. Bastard is not stable over 400FSB no matter how much voltage I toss at it, the memory compatibility is shit at best. It's just a turd of a board. I would recommend an X38 board.

but you still hit 3.9 outta that E5200, thats no small oc, and id be happy with 4ghz outta this E7200

I know, but I also have a 12.5X multiplier. I also think that this particular chip would go 4.5 in a better board. I intend to test that theory with a friends DS3L.

IMO, the power supply would probably limit his "overclockability" (if there is such a word). Also, good call on the second 4850 due to already having one. Only problem I am seeing with having the 2 4850's is the 19" 1440x900 monitor.
