Hello TPU,

I spent an hour or so surfing the pages of Newegg this morning looking for what is what, as far as good deals in the PC component market go. I found this Deal, and Frankly I am STILL dubious of wether or not it is a mistake, But either way it is WELL worth mentioning.The Cayman GPU in these cards has ALWAYS been one of MY favorites, I've owned 6-7, and they have Always impressed Me when it comes to performance, and durability.

@6970 Sapphire 2Gb model.

FFS, I am STILL running a 6950 1Gb model, and it runs VERY strong, with no issues what so ever, BF4..DayZ..L4D2...Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare....and So on.ALL @ VERY playable frames...i.e 60+FPS.

I AM aware that it is getting Older, but $100 after $10 rebate is a GREAT deal.I REALLY hope that someone benefits from this grab, I am not certain wether these have been @ this price for a while, but Frankly I havent seen 6970'/50's NEW on Any E-Tailer's for a good while now. Sure they pop up now and again, but over all they are not around too often.

I hope that these are still on sale @ the end of this month, I'd LOVE to buy one myself, but am broke till then.

As a Side note, there are ALSO some VERY good deals on NewEgg(US) on PSU's. I saw some Corsair Modulars for under $70...a EVGA modular Bronze rated 750 or 850Watt for less that $70, just in case someone is looking.

EVGA 750Watt Bronze certified @$60 after $10 rebate..I know they arent the Best ,but worth it @ this price.

Corsair 600M modular which anyone who knows PC, knows these are ROCK solid @$50

I personally shop around, and Depending on What is cheap, and when I make purchases, EVEN if I dont necissarily need the item, because as we ALL know, prices tend to be high when You NEED anm item.

P.S. I found this as well, SanDisk 128Gb SSD..NO REBATE needed...$60!..There where a Few decent SSD deals I saw, look around if your shopping for one.The 256's from Intel where even less than $150 if I remember correctly.I STILL think the SSD prices are TOO high, but I'm NEVER gonna be happy until they are the same as Disc HDD's. ;)

Bump the thread if You read it, and it's NOT on the main TPU page...I'd HATE for someone to miss this, if they could benefit from seeing it.

Best regards TPU...take care.

Best Post EU lol @Countryside

Massive geek boner :)...going to microcenter tomorrow AM.... I LOVE that place...anywhere that sells exclusivelyPC components/Electronics/peripheral's, and has shopping carts for said items, is RIGHT up My alley. I hope they have some kick-ass deals, they normally Do, but on stuff I want. ;)

Don't buy the 6970 for $110 after MIR. I have a better deal for you instead:

Newegg is offering a XFX R7 265 for $107.49 after discounts. It's retail price is $149, but you get a 15% off code and $20 MIR. Plus, you get the silver AMD game coupon.

The R7 265 beats the 6970 by about 20% in benchmarks, consumes 2/3 the power, is based off a newer architecture so you can expect better driver support in the future, includes free games, and is $2.50 cheaper. A win-win-win-win-win scenario if you ask me.

They had the 6970 1 Gb for $100 straight up for the last 6 months. Suypply is driving prices down. I wish Ram would go back down
