You must have some sort of "hacked" version, as mine is free to use, and I downloaded it from MS website.

Yeah, watch out for those, esp if they want you to enter your credit card details for payment. I dont trust anyone doing that, the only exception being paypal.

imo something is dodgy anyway if something like messenger wants me to send a txt to them, who knows what my number could be used for. Oddly its not just msn, I went to update to latest version of Bitcomet and during the install it also wanted me to send a txt to get a code to install it, so again I went right back to the other version (0.82)

Sounds like you've got a bit of malware packaged with your Bitcomet. Run and virus / spyware scan on your PC. Worst case is you may have a key logger, so don't do any internet banking soon.

If you use the virtual keyboard a keylogger would still log what you typed?

Have you tried Azeurus? I find it to be a good Bit torrent client, and as long as you download direct from sourceforge, then you shouldn't get any malware included when you install it.

Maybe not. Although, I don't see why some of these malware can't also log and transfer the screen images, software such as dameware can do that right now.

Its cool, just come back from a format ;) plus I didnt let the install continue when it got to entering the code stage, cancelled it right off.
