According to Firingsquad.com the final downloadable content will be released on September 7 and it will be called Witch Hunt.

The dreaded Archdemon has been slain and the advance of the darkspawn halted by a lone, heroic Grey Warden. The kingdom rejoices, but at least one question remains: what happened to Morrigan? The sorceress joined the Wardens cause, but it is said her true purpose was not revealed until the eve of the last battle. She vanished into the shadows, and while rumors claimed she crossed over the mountains into Orlais no trace of her path could be found. She was never heard from again... until now.

So we will have to see what happens and for those of us that romanced Morigann could this be our chance for a happy ending? Or will something else happen entirely. I sure hope this is well thought out content since I found that this subject matter could have been the basis for the entire sequel or at least a full expansion. In fact I'm a little disappointed to hear of the release of this since I have really come to this conclusion; why was this not already part of the game without having to pay another $7?

I really don't like the way EA is handling extra content at all. It all should have really been included in the game from the start. We shouldn't have to pay to tie up loose ends.

Anyhow, here is an offical link to the info from Bioware.

If they're making a DLC about it, I doubt it is a "happy ending." She most likely got more than she bargained for.

I just wonder if it is part of the main story like Warden's Keep or if it is separate like the Darkspawn one.

Might want to put basically that entire description in spoiler tags... I have finished DA:O yet, or even touched the first Expansion...

The Entire Release Is A Spoiler

I would have to hide the entire discussion and I think that would be counter productive. That is why I put spoiler warning in the title. Sorry if I ruined the experience for you.

The entire release is a spoiler so I guess it is tricky for EA to not spoil the experience for those who haven't played or completed the game either.

P.S How do I enable spoiler tags? Thanks in advance!

It seems like the only way to make the thing work is to have it separate since if you completed the game already you might have to do it again to get the continuation. It would be nice if they could make it both separate or a seemless continuation after the final battle depending on how we want to play it. Naturally I would greatly prefer if it was a seamless add-on to the final sequence but I would be okay if it were separate like Leliana's Song.
