Taken them long enough to develop a Zelda game intended for Wii... Approaching four years now?
So I guess no Wii2 this year eh?
Motion sensors on the DS might be a bit hard to come by, but I'll be waiting to see the actuality.
no shit, i love zelda lol its a hell of a series, one of the best no denying it. Twilight princess sold bunches, but hopefully all this time in between the games will make the next one the better than even Ocarina of Time
Nice! *Hangs head in shame since he still hasn't beaten Twilight Princess*
Wouldn't it be ironic if a "ported" version of this next Zelda game was also a launch title on the new console just like Twightlight Princess was updated for the Wii from the GameCube? That would annoy me greatly.
Bleh I think the Wii, and DS/PSP are out dated.
All current consoles are outdated. As always, computer technology leapfrogs over them until the next generation is released.
I don't think the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are outdated, I think those handhelds are outdated by iPod Touch and iPhone and the Wii has bad graphics and the PS3/Xbox 360 is about to have motion. Therefore, yes, outdated. But not all consoles are.
Sure they are. A well equipped computer can do everything they can do at double the framerate and at a higher resolution. Portability always sacrifices performance, however.
Yes but u can't put the computer in the same group. The computer is a group within itself.
They have the same internal components (GPU, CPU, motherboard, RAM, power supply, optical drive, flash memory or HDD) and even share the same technologies (e.g. 802.11 wireless and USB).
So you think the handhelds and Wii are outdated, Xbox360 and PS3 are not. Care to share some of your arguments to explain this opinion to the rest of us?
Consoles are not outdated, they cost a metric shit ton less then a decent rig ( except ps3 at launch)
If I spent 129 on a rig I#d get nothing close to the wii in terms of graphics performance.
( you have to buy entire rig, case, gpu, mobo, ram etc)
^ what he said.
outdated doesnt mean "graphics arent AWESOMELY SUPERDUPER MAN"
Can we get on topic? new DS/new zelda?
Yes. I was thinking about getting a current gen DS but I don't think I'd play it enough to justify the cost. I hope the new one is backwards compatible as far as games are concerned so if I do decide to pick one up, I can go retroactive with older games (especially Zelda).
Should put out a retro-Zelda like they did for Mario. Not getting my hopes up as that probably won't happen. But would be nice to just jump into a new story without having to "work at" the controls.
What do you expect?, Consoles are for games. Not hardware crazed people.
