Nirvana 120mm Fan header 3-pin, but mobo cpu-fan header 4-pin, wat to do ?

    Heatsink : Zerotherm Nirvana 120mm

    Mobo : GIGABYTE EX38-DS4

    mobo cpu-fan header is 4 pin , while heatsink fan header is 3 pin , how do i connect ?

    it will still work, the clip should still fit the pins with the tab as well!

    it still works just make sure you align the 3-pin header to the tab from the 4-pin ;)

    aline the notch on the 3 pin header with the 4 pin header, like so:

    thx , but will i be able to control the fan through bios ?

    will the fan spin at its lowest speed by doing this ?

    It will work just like if the header was 3 pin. The last pin is for PWM support. Your fan will work just fine.

    you should still be able to control the fan through software or the bios, and it should spin at full speed if you dont have fan speed configurations in the bios.

    Here are the pics from the review:

    I would recommend using the fan controller from the Nirvana, as it can make the fan ultra quiet when not needed.
