NO MORE THAN 30fps in FEAR COMBAT with my GX2

    I can't get fear combat to run well with my GX2 im getting really bad frames 18-35max what would be doing this:(

    Do you get normal performance on other games? it dont need patching does it?

    yep runs crysis cod4 no probs, got the latest drivers a patches for the game

    i fould the problem so thing to do with my G15 keyboard disabled all my Human Interface Devices, i get 100+ any way i can work around this

    Hmm I've had that problem with nearly every nv card I've had and on my old X1900... I never really came up with a solution, latest drivers for everything helped. And I haven't seen the problem on vista... But then again you have vista don't you?

    are you using a G15 keyboard? or any keyboard with a LCD Display

    I'm using a g15,(i am on ati tho').Some games do go funny tho',red orchestra makes the lcd manager crash when i exit the game.

    Least you figured it out tho'.

    i had the same issue in fear i read somewere changing the fear.exe name to something else solves the problem i tried it and it worked but this was a long time ago with older nvidia drivers the guide said the drivers was causing the low fps

    This is what I was away to say:

    The Logitech set-point drivers seem to interfere with FEAR...I had same problem..only option was to not install the Setpoint drivers.

    just disable Human Interface Devices when playing games that run bad, the fear EXP's 1,2 run fine with the LCD Display because they use it. i don't think this problem is goin to be fixed because fear is past the age of updates,
