If I had to pick one...maybe the Noctua....but...I think they may be so close to each other the winner cant really be decided in a clear cut way.

Personally, if I had to pick one of them for myself, I'd get whatever one was cheaper and that's no doubt the Dark Knight.

im running one now with 2 12cm fans on it... and my true was better (with only 1 fan on)...
not sure how the xigmatek fares but it does look nicer and cant be that bad with all the good reviews im seeing ;)

Id say if the noctua is the same price get it... if the xiggy is much cheaper then get that
(bear in mind youll mneed to buy a 2nd fan for the noctua)

I own the normal HDT1283 and I couldn't be happy with it....push/pull on this thing works amazingly well.

Shame I don't get to play with it much these days as its sat in her rig. :slap:

Very close, as I suspected....but...is the price of either the Noctua or Xiggy DK worth it when you can get the "normal" HDT1283 for a fair bit less and then buy another sexy 110cfm fan to strap to it???

yeah those xiggy fans look fantastic!
(whereas the horrible beige and dark red / brownish colour of the noctua fans look horrible!)

I may have to get a pair :D

I have the U12P on my 955 and it keeps it nice and cool. Once I get the second fan on it, I'm sure it will be even better. From my understanding though, both are about equal, so it really depends on price.
