SSD (Intel X25-E SLC) broke, had to get it replaced and restore the database backup all the way from France.

No data lost as far as I can tell

Proof that I didn't break it:
    Code:

    Sep 23 05:14:30 db kernel:
    Sep 23 05:14:30 db kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev sdc, sector 4017047
Sep 23 05:18:15 db kernel: sd 0:0:2:0: rejecting I/O to offline device
    Sep 23 05:18:15 db kernel: ext3_abort called.

There is a admin at another site I visit that likes to play with stuff too. At least you had a good backup, but why in France? Invasion plans?

    a) there is no polish-france border, germany is in between
    b) the live servers are in the US, so they wouldnt be affected
    c) if germany goes boom i would be dead or on the run, in case it happens: everyone send me a pm with your address if you want to provide shelter for me

Good job on the restore man! Also if Germany goes boom you can stay in my bomb shelter here in the south. Do you have a pretty mouth by chance?

That's why I said that. I know there is Germany between my country and France! I love October Fest and other things like german roads (Autobahn mmmmm.....).

Is there someone who can administrate TPU like you if something gone wrong? Do you have any Padawan?
