NPU review assistance

Afternoon,

I'm looking for members with a GTX 970/980/980ti and/or members with an AMD R9 290/290X, who also happen to own a 4K monitor. CPU at this stage doesn't appear to matter.

PM me if you meet these criteria. Nothing too time consuming - I have a benchmark I need you to run so I can verify my results while I get in talks with the developers.

Sorry, adjusted OP. Ti's allowed. Just need to run the benchmark on a Maxwell card. Nothing lower than the 970 because on 4K it ain't gonna be pretty

Need to compare it to AMD to see if it's architecture specific or just a really broken engine.

Nothing should kill a 980ti, even AoS still ran on it, just with Fiji gaining parity. Curiosity piqued but monitor still falls short at QHD. Sad face.

i have 290x but my tv is 1080p. if 4k dsr could do it i can run the tests

Satellite Reign @ 4K kills all apparently. I know 4K is a lot of performance to ask of a 970, but Satellite Reign is not one of those typical high-fidelity titles. You'd be surprised how badly it runs. We're talking V1.0 Arkham Knight badly.

I play a lot of games at 4K these days and have no real problems. Warframe and all my recent review titles are played at 4K. Mad Max is a AAA title with AAA graphics. Satellite Reign is a AAA title with Indie graphics. Mad Max gets vastly better frame rates, so something is wrong.

well, even 1080p on a heavy modded Skyrim or any ultra vRAM hungry game is not a task for a 970 it seems ... same mods load and settings, my friends build struggle to follow my 980 with his 970

so am i ... FFXIVHW 1080p : steady 60fps DSR 4K : 30fps, if the actuall 4K performance is not alike of a DSR'ed res i wonder what it would be :laugh:

but at last DSR 4K no AA on a 27" is useful compared to a real 4K (since my 27" screen cost me 3time less than the cheapest 4k that my etailer offer )

if i had a 4k monitor i would gladly offer my 980 for the NPU bench, but either the price and the utility of a 4k screen fails me :cry:
