So even if we have the 7800 now in all it's flavours, NVIDIA is still bringing us 6800s in 2 versions: a PCI Express on a NV41 chip and a good old AGP on the NV40 chip. The chips are moving out (of Taiwan) and the cards will be here in time to rival the ATI Radeon X800GT and GTO cards. The NVIDIA cards will be retail and OEM so if you're looking for 8 pipes (6800XT/ X800GT) or 12 (6800 Standard cards/ X800 GTO), the only hard part will be choosing which card you want.
In other news, The Inquirer informs us further that ATI has a September 24th launch date for it's Crossfire mobos. All this wonderful news evokes in me Ren and Stimpy's "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" song (listen at your own risk).
Edit: The date is the 26th of September. A typo from the source...
