Nvidia is expected to launch its C51 integrated PCI Express (PCIe) chipset for the AMD K8 platform on September 20. The company has also developed an equivalent chipset for the Intel Pentium 4 platform, the C60, though that launch schedule has yet to be revealed, according to motherboard makers. The release of the C51 should help Nvidia address the loss of Microsoft Xbox 360 orders. According to Nvidia, the loss of Xbox orders should leave a US$70 million hole in its revenues this quarter.
