NVIDIA has updated its beta ForceWare driver to version 174.74, which supports just about all GeForce FX, 6, 7, 8 and 9 series graphics cards. The changes in this release include improved performance for DirectX9 and OpenGL applications, as well as a number of game and application compatibility fixes. Download locations are as follows:
    • Windows XP 32-bit – here
    • Windows XP 64-bit – here
    • Windows Vista 32-bit – here

    mmm drivers.

oh it should be noted these are still betas

    YES YES YES!

the release notes say they added custom resolution support to vista - AT LAST!
(i cant use component HDTV output and had to buy a DVI->HDMI adaptor cause this was missing)

:D my HDMI screen is now detected as a digital flat panel, so i can use Nvidias settings to disable scaling - previously, i had to use the TV remote to toggle to 4:3 mode for example, whereas now the video card does it for me.

    Woot!
