Nvidia Geforce 630M vs AMD Radeon 8730??

    I want to buy a laptop with Graphics card and i am confused which graphics card is best Nvidia Geforce 630M 2GB or AMD Radeon 8730 2GB??Please Help

    Welcome to TPU.

    According to some googling I did the 8730 is approximately on par with the 640, so the 630 will give you less performance than the 8730.

    Both cards aren't great for gaming (even the 640). You will have to run on medium/low resolution and detail.

    there seems to be many laptops with 8750m out there you should see if any are in your price range, if you do buy any laptop with a 8000m series gpu though please pm me as i have a few requests for you to do with that laptop to help further make the gpu database here more accurate :)

    These two are both the lower-mid tier GPU for notebooks, well you can game using either of those still
    8730M > 630M, as stated above the 8730M is ~ the 640M. So there you go :)
    I'm using a 1Gb GT630M, quite satisfying to be honest, for casual gaming
