Mods:
just fitted a cpu watercooling setup using XSPC gear, but didn't want to fit a standard kit and be done with it. So I took my case and used a 79k tank cutter to cut the top of the case to fit an additional rad and 120mm fan at the top. Also made a hole to fit a danger den fillport. See the pictures.

Water cooling equipment - XSPC extreme x2o waterblock, 1x rs-120 xspc rad, 1x rs-120s rad, xspc 1/2" tubing, danger den fillport, Feser UV blue coolant, xspc 400 pump and resi. The new stuff replaced a Artic cooler pro 7 and reduced the cpu temp by 13 deg C. Additional cooling provided by 2x 120mm fans, 2x 250mm fans. OCZ xtc memory cooler. case temp 6 deg C. over room temp. Still got to tidy the wires up and fit fan guards.

no problem, to cut the larger hole I used a tank cutter and a carpenters brace. See below for links.

by using the above it allows you to go slow, I even used the brace with a standard drill bit for the screws. It is slow but you get a good result. I then de-burred everthing and blew and hoovered the inside out to remove and metal swarf.

The fillport was done using a shearing compression tool and that thing was amazing, no deformation or swarf.

be careful drilling because it can snag, thats why the brace is good.

many thanks and if you have any other questions - just ask.
