OCCT failed me

I ran a OCCT test last night for 10 hours. It was a "mix" test and it was set for high priority. It passed. Then I tried playing Silkroad and I bluescreened. Am I using the wrong settings in OCCT?

The Mix test on OCCT doesn't completey test the RAM or CPU. It gets close on both, but never completely tests them. I usually test it set to CPU for 10 hours, then RAM for 10 hours, then throw in some Prime95 tests just to make sure.

I figured I would have to seperately test them. :/
I guess I'll do that and throw in an Orthos blend 10 hour as well.

BSODs are more often RAM related than from the CPU so check that first.

On my rig I found that to get my computer completely stable I needed more volts on the RAM vs my CPU and NB.

Yeah I know it was the ram. I'm just saying OCCT failed to fail my unstable ram.

Orthos blend... It's delicious!

Perhaps Silkroad is just a bad program? Have you checked to see if anyone else is having similar problems?

These utilities shouldn't be the only means of determining 100% stability. The best test you could ever use to determine stability is everyday programs/games IMO.
