office turn off my pc

    Hello friends

    I have a P4 3.0 socket 478 512mb of ram 80 gb disc msi motherboard and a source of power 500w with Windows XP SP2
    the problem is as follows to save documents in office Exel and the system shuts down or in some cases it may cut image and the only way to begin again is off the team with the power button if someone can help me :banghead::banghead:

    try windows update, and make sure you have the latest version, aside from that im not sure what would cause your pc to turn off while saving an office document.

    Have you checked your system for viruses or other malware ?

    well, if thats the problem, they you having some type of Dll conflict it sounds like. What version of office are you running?

    He could have corruption in the save portion of the suite too, and just needs to re-install office.
    We will have to wait until he is back online to get more info.

    Hello
    thank you for your answers but in this case the machine is running with the newly installed windows there is no way that the fault was caused by a virus
    is not connected to the internet version of the office is 2003
    could be be a hardware problem but if that's the case that only happens when I use the office

    It could be a bad load of the software.
    Try un-installing office and re-installing it, and then update it with any patches.
