old school question x800pro 256

    Can a ATI x800pro 256 pci express be flashed to a x800xt and whats the diffrence in the two I have forgotten.

    It runs no problem at xt speeds I just forget how to open the pipes or how you can tell if you can open them

    If they are indeed the same card you should be able to flash it to an x800XT. The only difference is the clock speeds, really. And maybe a negligalbe amount of voltage. If you have a good cooler on your card, you may want to mod your own BIOS and give it a little more juice so you get more OC headroom :toast:

    Anyone know where a good flash rom walk thru is I tried winflash and as i expected it didn't open the pipes I believe you have to use flashrom.
