that's a pretty sweet cooler, been thinking about getting one, but so far the stock fan keeps my cpu around 100F/43C... haven't seen it go higher than 125F/52C, and that's with it overclocked from 2.8 to 3.25. not as bad as my Pent. D got tho... thing got up to 175F/80C

Is that an old Dell case or something?
Is that a ghetto rigged fan on your NB heatsink?

    Daddy like! :)

You should really post this in the Ghetto Mods thread unless you already did. It would be an excellent contribution.

    Whatchu talkin' bout?

You don't mean that you didn't clip it in all the way, do you? That would be pretty epically bad.

798g (without fan), so it aint light.

    Compared to:
    CM 212+ @ 626g
    CM V8 @ 866g
    Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B @ 790g
    Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 120mm @ 590g
    ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 @ 520g

It should be noted that I don't know whether those weights include the fan.

Because of What? Bent mobo or broken socket, or maybe something else?
Is it really nothing you can do to fix it?

I tried everything cleared the CMOS tried enabling the back up bios noting cpu is not getting any power either the chip is gone or the stocket is damaged I didn't see anything obvious but then again if it broke a trace I would't be-able to see that it was really tight

THIS Is WHY I HATE LARGE COOLERS =/
everything was good but I reboot last nite after reseating the cooler and running prime for an hour
Temps where much better after the reseat she just didnt wanna work no moar :(

You can now take your pc apart, disconnect everything and look closely for deffects, as it is not working now anyway. Also try to assemble again and turn it on in horizontal position.

Well atleast it probably wasn't your cooler, I tend to find they take out motherboards if they do go

I know the CPU loss isn't a laughing matter but better to see the bright side eh.

( look at my system specs for example  )
