Hey guys,
so basically I was disassembling my laptop for the fun of it (and to upgrade it from a T7100 to a T7500) and since it is an essentially "non-upgradeable" laptop I had to disassemble it all the way through.
The laptop is a A200-17O from Toshiba, sports an HD2600 Mobility and since I'm curious I took of the card off the mainboard too (and replaced the applied thermal paste with some Liquid Metal Pads (runs 27-28°C now in Idle and 50°C under load compared to the 30°C in idle and 60°C under load before)...
Fact is, I was wondered to see the GFX-Card was not directly soldered on the mainboard like on my old Acer Aspire 1690 (x700 mobility)...
So observing it, it is obvious that it is not MXM; is it an AXIOM then? I kind of assumed AXIOM died before even being born...
Here's some pics:
Don't worry; I cleaned it a lot better before reapplying the new thermal paste.
Also: is it possible for you guys to get some info outta the ram by just seeing 'em laid bare like this? (Like latency and stuff)
