Got a free copy of Crysis 3 and its tied to Origin.

I hate origin! any way of stripping it off my system and putting Crysis 3 into the steam folder?

Absolutely not. Even if you bought it on Steam, it would probably require Origin to run because it is a newish Electronic Arts title (Origin handles all the multiplayer aspects of the game).

Why do you dislike Origin so much?

Well I am not sure if this helps any but I have been using Origin for a long long time and have never had any issues.

A free copy of Crysis 3 seems like a pretty good reason to use Origin. :toast:

Origin is honestly not a bad service, been using it since the BF3 beta and have had no trouble with it.

aside from a few store checkout issues, can't login wrong password issues, and crappy friendslist. It's fine to use, been using it since the release(BF3 beta) too.

although I agree, I would love to see these games on steam.

You could probably put a link to it in your Steam folder and have Origin auto login which would make it less intrusive.
