OSD monitoring software not based on Afterburner?

Is there any other software that works on NVIDIA cards and isn't based on RivaTuner OSD component (MSI Afterburner basically). MSI Afterburner's OSD is interfering with things apparently and makes NFS 2016 crash for me on intro videos. Only thing that it has to do is show me GPU temperature, core clock an memory clock in realtime on OSD. Don't need anything else really.

If there is no alternatives, any idea how to solve this? I have no clue why it's causing the crashing, but when I removed it, it stopped crashing.

Would be nice if GPU-Z had option to run resident like MSI Afterburner has and very basic OSD for all the parameters it's monitoring. It would make sense since it's a status/monitoring tool.

I might try it, but considering how old it is, I doubt it'll work well with Windows 10 and latest DX versions...

not sure if its sourced from something else though. Solaris and I sent feedback during Win 10 beta period and they were pretty quick to respond and offer updated beta versions to solve problems. I find it a useful app, also it has a mobile (iOS/Android) companion app that you can monitor your pc's even when you arent home

I'm asking because 90% of these tools are base off RivaTuner. Sapphire's Trixx is the only one really stand alone and not based on RivaTuner.

If you want to change osd tool only because of nfs i would try first other thing. Usually startup crashes and crashes in ea origin games are caused by conflict between ANY external osd and origin overlay. Disable origin overlay completely or just for need for speed and try the game again with afterburner enabled.

op can't read the AB fact specifically says not to use with origin overlay and this is not a issue with AB its a issue with how overlays are drawn in general you can't really have multipl layers of overlays because the D3D api doesn't support it,there are hacks to work around that but they can be messy
id enable stealth mode and custom d3d support in RTSS and try again

OP used it for ages problem free and then all of a sudden NFS started crashing on intro video. But then, if I re-started the game straight away again, it worked. So don't tell me what OP does or doesn't whatever. And it doesn't actually say that anywhere obvious. If it's hidden in some hell hole document, who cares really?

I would like to say I use 2 monitors. My 2nd monitor is used for stats and such as I don't use overlays.
I use the ab monitor on 2nd screen never have issues.

If you have a spare monitor you can do the same.
