outlook account config

SO today my friend asked me if i could post this question on the forum:



He wants to configure a outlook account with 1 email, with that outlook account he wants to run the same account in 2 diferent computers he wants the both computer to be connected in network, for example:

• he receives a email and that email is sent to each computer;
• he deletes a email from one computer and it also deletes on the other;
• he moves a email to a folder it also moves on the other computer;

If you guys can help me would be nice!

He want to set it up as an IMAP account. Most email providers that support POP3 generally support IMAP. If his doesn't, he needs to find a provider that keeps up with the times...

the thing ehre is he dosnt know how to do it at all, he understand computing but not how to do this xD how to configure the outlook i mean

Yup. IMAP is the way to go, if it's not exchange supported. That comes closest to getting what your friend wants. A lot of times (like google, for instance), the server name simply changes from pop.mailserver.com to imap.mailserver.com. Just look up the server settings for the provider, and IMAP settings should be easy to find.

Gmail has imap setup instructions. Just enable in account settings, and follow the directions.
