i have had the chip in the board for one day now,so i thought i's give it a try out.

    a few pics-

    cpu-z

    science mark 2

    everest mem bench-
    [IMG]

the vcore is on 1.475v,the vdroop seems to be .02v idle.if its on 1.475v in the bios,cpu-z reports it as 1.456v.not too bad.

    its on windows at 33c

the strange thing is,it will pass science mark, but super pi crashes.any idea why.

    thx guys

Have you used Orthos to test for stability?

i havent tried orthos yet,in the past with my 6300 which did 3.8 benchable on air,i nvr did at all.in my experience,if it can pass science mark it should be ok.

it wont run pi ant any of them, below 1m.

im kinda just finding its feet,i wont run it tits out 24/7,just trying to see what it will do.it does seem better than it was in the p5b-deluxe tho'

its near enuff that now,was about 59c running science mark.i reckon with a better cooler it might well do more than 4ghz.

i will run it like this for a while today to test it.its cold here now so the temps are not too bad,its at 36c idle.

getting a thermalright ultra 120extreme with a silverstone 39 dba 110cfm fan should get you to 4.5 easy.
