i cant seen to figure out how to get the second video card in the black slot to work. the fan spins up on it and i've hooked 2 different monitors to it. flipped the sli paddle around, about the only thing i havent tried yet is the sli bridge.

i'm not trying to run sli, i want to dual gpu fold on this. i dont have 2 of the same vid cards anyway. what i'm trying to run now is a 9600gso and a 9600gt. both cards work in the blue primary slot, i tried flipping them around already.

as of now i'm out of ideas and hair to pull, so i'm asking for your help.

    btw this is on xp

I dont understand what you are exactly trying to do.

You have a 9600gso and a 9600gt on an SLI motherboard. Are you trying to run both these cards in SLI? or running 3+ monitors? or 1 card for graphics other one for physics?

no, i'm trying to get them both running, to fold on them. but i did finnaly get it all worked out. kicked the 9600gso out and put in a 8800gts 320mb. both of them are now happily overclocked and folding away.

looks like i should be good for about 10-12k ppd now.
