hey guys wondering what are the paints I should be using in a gaming system? my wife plans to paint her newly upgraded system yellow. so what we plan to paint are the SSD,GPU,Motherboard(some parts like the heat sink and stuff unless it's dangerous to do that), H100i, chassis, psu, fans, keyboard, mouse, and mousepad and the monitor(the sides).

can anyone us which paint to use and not to use?

for now she ordered a gpu msi 770 lightning for sli and a asus sabertooth since it's easier to pain the armor.

btw she plans for this to be pure yellow and no side colour. Oh on parts that can't be painted we plan to put some yellow thingy like a glass or something to make it look yellow. what do you guys think which paint or what type of paint should we use seeing as it looks like it will be in a lot of heat.

the chassis right now is a 600T white.

note: I saw this topic about a UV paint http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187578

how good are they for the pc setup both inside and outside?

generec canned paint for cars works.

i use high gloss enamel paint. apply it with a brush.

just prepare the surface properly and let it dry i na dust free environment.

    Hi! I'm from the Internet
I was right with you until you said mousepad. Wouldn't you just buy a yellow mousepad?

dont paint the mouse and mousepad.

use vinyl wrap on the mouse, and get a yellow mousepad....

well in our local store there are no yellow mousepad so was thinking if it's possible to paint it. we do have a yellow table and chair ready. how about generic can pain for cards (for those parts inside the case? won't they melt or something?)

thanks for the reply guys I'll look into those kind of paints. anyone else got more suggestion? more options is great btw.

no those paints will be fine inside the case. use enamel paint. and dont use that stuff on the mousepad. it will go hard. as a rock.

    buy mousepads online...

also,, yellow mousepad on a yellow table will look weird. add bits of black. but thats just my opinion.

ahahaha my wife liked the mellow yellow or was it yellow mellow.

well online we might have shipping problems, (unless I'm back in the states). we still got a few days before her other part order arrives, so I'm studying into it now, I kind of find this really interesting. although I kind of feel like it's too bright whenever I look at the table and chair LOL
