It's not clear from the article if the effect is dramatic enough for anyone else to notice since they characterize it as a "slight" decrease. But if you take this on a regular basis, you can notice your own responses and see if it seems true.

http://www.nhs.uk/news/2015/04April...unt-feelings-of-pleasure-as-well-as-pain.aspx

Half the study’s 80 participants were given a normal dose of paracetamol, while the other half took a placebo pill. They were then asked to view photos commonly used by researchers to test both positive and negative emotional responses. These included, for instance, unpleasant pictures of crying, malnourished children and pleasant images, such as children playing with cats.

The study found that those who had taken paracetamol reported slightly less intense reactions to the photos than those who had taken a placebo pill. They also found the photos less emotionally arousing.

The researchers speculated that paracetamol may affect signalling pathways inside the brain, which may have an effect on mood.

However, far more research is needed before any conclusions can be drawn as to whether the painkiller can dull emotional reactions, particularly real life events.
BTW, if you don't already know, acetaminophen is a major cause of liver damage, at least here in the US. You should never take more than 4000mg in a 24 hr period. One reason people take too much is that the drug is often a component of other OTC medications. So you think you're not overdosing but you really are.

lol, according to everyone every things bad for you. If your in pain WTF can you do and like every thing else different amounts effect people differently.

Like peanuts brown eggs are bad for you even milk that has not been pasteurized. All because what happened in America all those years ago which was not the milk at fault it was the actual suppliers.

Eat American eat crappy modified food and because the government says it's good to have cream made from near pure sugar is ok but from milk is bad.

O yeah another funny but it's ok to sell Aspirin in 100-200 count bottles hahahaha.

I wonder if this is a short term effect when exposed to the drug or if it does long-term damage. I doubt the FDA would do anything if it isn't long term.

Smoke weed everyday.
The primary metabolite of paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a compound called AM-404. This metabolite acts as both a FAAH (fatty acid amine hydrolase,) re-uptake inhibitor (which prevents the endocannabinoid Anandamide from getting re-absorbed into the pre-synaptic neuron although it seems to be the case that FAAH is an enzyme, not a re-uptake pump, so it is entirely possible that inhibitors of the enzyme just keep the molecule from getting processed). It also acts as a agonist of TRPV1 (transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1,) which usually impacts body temperature and feelings of heat. Lastly, AM-404 also acts as COX-1 and 2 inhibitors like most NSAIDs.

So one could say that Tylenol (paracetamol,) is more closely related to cannabis (specifically THC and other cannabanoids like CBD as well as endocannabanoids like anadamide) than many other chemicals and many have suggested that this could be the primary mechanism of action Paracetamol.

krhmmm... funny the only drug I take rarely is Suprastin... because of allergy from cats (you may imagine why I seldom have to encounter them...) other than that... I don't use anything at all - only stuff at home are plasters and Streptocide powder to disinfect and stop bleeding from some traumas...

There is a saying, if you take medicaments during a cold/flu you will recover in 7 days... if not in a week... eat them stenching garlic :D.

this is one reason I also cringe, when Pain-killers are said to be "deadly", but truthfully, when mixed with Acetominophen, its the narcotic that is less deadly, addictive, Yes, but NOT deadly.
